DESCRIPTION: Willy Seiler (German, 20th century). Four hand colored original etchings in portfolios. Each depict a scene from Japan including rice fields, farmers, and homes. Each signed in lower right corner. Born in Dresden, Seiler lived in Germany until leaving to study art in Paris. Seiler taught art to USA army personnel stationed in Japan after WWII. MEASUREMENTS: Each approximately 4-5/8" x 5-3/8". Overall paper size 6-7/8" x 7-5/8". CONDITION: Minor toning to paper and folios consistent with age.
