Two 19th century garnet brooches. To include a black garnet oval-shape mourning brooch, together with a red garnet crescent brooch suspending a floral cluster and fringe. Lengths 4.1 and 1.7cms.

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Mourning brooch with replacement fittings. Red garnet brooch with one garnet deficient to a drop, central cluster drop possible replacement. Garnets well matched. Black garnets with fair to significant abrasion with small nicks.
