Description
Signature on the last page. First page on official letterhead. He lived from 1880-1943, third son of the Rabi Yaakov Perlov, in his youth he was already famous as a Torah sage, at age 12 he corresponded with the sages of his generation. After the death of his uncle, Rabbi Yehoshua Heschel Padova of Balchov, he was appointed the Admor in his stead. Established a yeshiva in his town, was father-in-law of Elimelech ben Tziyyon Shapira son of the Pisenza Admor, during the Shoah he encouraged and supported his community. In 1943 he was taken to the Steri ghetto and he was killed in the town square on 11 of Tammuz, wrapped in a tallit. His family was all killed in the Shoah as well, except his daughter and son-in-law. Excellent condition.
