New Haven Dietz Empire Lantern Clear Cast Globe

Item Details

Description

An unusual Dietz Empire model lantern frame with NYNH&HRR stamped boldly on the lid. There are not many railroad marked Empire frames. This frame is very very clean. The brass burner has a unique wick scraper that required a hollow shaft for the scraper mechanism and the burner shaft goes through it. These burners are hard to find.

The globe is a nice New Haven cast initials, NYNH&HRR, in an oval panel with the Corning "Cnx" logo cast on the reverse side.
