Description
A Pennsylvania Deitz #39 Vulcan lantern frame that is pretty standard. This model has a bail lock-down clip on one side. The frame is clean and stamped PRR on the lid.
The globe is a standard Corning style and size with PRR boldly etched on one side. It also has the desirable "MEG CO / 115" casting on the back. This is small lettering but pretty easy to see. MEG is the MacBeth Evans Glass Company in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Macbeth and the successor company MacBeth-Evans made a lot of Pennsy globes! Guaranteed legit. Originally from a prominent Delaware collection.
