Item Details

Description

A Dietz Vesta lantern frame with MAINER CENTRAL spelled out on the lid. It has a date code of S-12-42 for December of 1942. The frame has a fluted pot and the bail lock-down provision. The frame is nice and clean.

The globe is a nice blue with flanges on the top and bottom. These help seat the globe in the frame. There is a Corning "Cnx" cast logo on one side and the standard Dietz Vesta casting on the other side. The raiklroad name is not on the globe.
