Details: This lot consists of the vintage hand-painted paper mache Royal Coronation and ceremonial dress figurines shown in the corresponding images.

These figurines depict traditional costumes of the British Nobility for Royal Coronations at various times of history, and ceremonial dress of chivalrous orders. Details include length and embellishments of of trains (females) and Robes (males). Representations include:

"Dean of Westminster" Robe made 1661 for coronation of Charles II.

"Knight Of The Garter" Founded 1348 ( by Edward III).

"Knights Of The Bath" Founded 1721 (by George I).

"Duchess 1837" Duchess may have an embroidered train. (Coronation of Queen Victoria)

"Duchess 1902" (Coronation of Edward VII)

"Lord Lyon King Of Arms" Tabard with Arms of Scotland.

"Countess 1937" Edward VIII (not used).
