French, 20th century. A collection eleven pill or trinket boxes hand painted and from Limoges, France comprising a heart shaped Tiffany & CO box in pink ground with white dots centered with cartouche 'I love you'; an oval box with surmounted with seated kitten; a Rochard box with seated smiling pig; a Marque Deposee box surmounted with teeter totter with pig and snail; an oval box with butterfly finial; Rose Art oval box modeled as puppy in dog bed; cylindrical floral and yellow ground box; Chamart cylindrical box with sleeping kitten; a cylindrical box with pastel stripes and floral bouquet; gilt metal handled oval box modeled as a basket of vegetables. All boxes marked 'Limoges France, Peint main'. Tallest box approximately 3.25" , smallest .87".

Each box examined under black light - no apparent repairs. Each box with functioning lid, with minor surface scratches and paint wear/loss commensurate with general handling. Some with adhesive residue that fluoresces under black light. Some metal collars with minor oxidation. Each with minor wear to underside from general handling.
