Description
Japanese, 19th/20th century. Collection of four teapots comprising of an unmarked bronze (likely Edo period) teapot with bulbous body; black glazed shigaraki clay teapot with white metal handle with spiral coil on handle, unmarked; 20th century unmarked tokoname red vermilion lacquered teapot with cherry blossom flower motif on circular lid; and a reddish cop9per metal teapot or pitcher with fitted lid, unmarked. Black glazed shigaraki teapot approximate height 7.25".Tokoname teapot approximate height 3", diameter of foot 2.6". Provenance: From the Collection of Owner and Director of Gallery Momoyama, Reginald Williams of Atlanta, Georgia.
