Laurence Biddle (British, born 1888) oil on board of still life titled "Nankin Gar". Multicolor flowers in blue and white Asian porcelain vase against blue grey background with miniature figure of a seated man and scattered petals. Signed and dated lower right "Laurence Biddle 24". Two labels, colored lithograph of butterfly with names of flower and signed by artist, top, and The Fine Art Society, Ltd. label with title, artist name, and date, bottom, on back of brown paper attached to giltwood frame. Condition
Overall very good condition, couple of minor pin size paint fleck losses to signature area, lower right margin, and one minor paint fleck loss approximately 1/16", lower left margin.
