Description

Birks Sterling Silver Coffee and Tea Service, 6 pieces including Kettle on stand, coffee pot, tea pot, cream jug, sugar bowl and waste bowl, all with elaborate chased floral and Rocaille decoration and central cartouches engraved with monogrammed crest of a hand raising a scythe; each raised on four scrolled feet and all (except the waste bowl) having C scroll handles with detailed volutes. Creamer, sugar and waste bowl all have gilt lined interiors. Kettle 14"H (including handle), Coffee Pot 10"H. Also retained the mahogany felt lined box for the set. 186.12 total troy oz. Condition

Overall excellent condition with a couple of tiny dark spots and scratches to gilt. Some age related hairlines to insulators.
