Description
Two 9ct gold gem-set rings. To include an early 20th century oval-shape garnet single-stone ring and a 1970s square-shape onyx ring with overlaid serpent detail. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1919 and London, 1972. Weight 15gms.
Condition
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. There is an areas of discolouration to the band of the onyx ring. Garnet reddish brown, with a good saturation of colour, typical scattered inclusions to the garnet visible with magnification. There are some chips and areas of abrasion visible to the facet edges of the garnet. Ring sizes T and M. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
