Description
An Edwardian 18ct gold diamond five-stone ring. The graduated old-cut diamonds, to the scrolling shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct. Principal diamond estimated I-J colour, P2 clarity. Hallmarks for Chester, 1904. Ring size N. Weight 1.7gms.
Condition
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. The band narrows to the back. Diamonds fairly well matched. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Chips to the girdles of some of the diamonds visible with magnification. Light and dark inclusions visible to the diamonds some visible with the unaided eye. One diamond has some surface reaching inclusions.
