Item Details

Description

An Antique Parian Porcelain Bust of Sir Henry Havelock. Major-General Sir Henry Havelock (1795 – 1857) was a British General who is particularly associated with India and his recapture of Cawnpore from rebels during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The bust is signed on the back on the back "W. B. Kirk Fecit" and on the bottom with the logo of Kerr & Binns of Worcester, England. Overall dimensions are 8 1/2" high x 5 1/4" across his shoulders.

Condition

The Parian Bust is in very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. The only thing to note are some teeny nicks on the back edge by the Kirk mark.
