Item Details

Description

Original dockyard builder's model of "Motor Yacht Ceto," 130 tons, a registered yacht of the Royal Yacht Squ brass fittings, such as telegraphs, binnacle, wheel on pedestal, portholes, skylights, winch, etc. Deck is varnished with planking outlined in India ink. A motorized launch and pram hang from davits on deck. Hull isadron. Built by Vosper at Portsmouth, England in 1935. Exceptional model in a very large scale. Details include brass fittings, such as telegraphs, binnacle, wheel on pedestal, portholes, skylights, winch, etc. Deck is varnished with planking outlined in India ink. A motorized launch and pram hang from davits on deck. Hull is painted white over deep red with a green waterline. Hull is mounted onto a mahogany base with four turned pedestals. Plexiglass dome is cracked and scratched - needs replacing. Model is in very good order. Overall Dimensions (model): 80" x 14" x 30", (case) 87" x 24" x 38"
