2 Bronze Temple Bells, Nepal, 1800-1850, including a Hanuman bell, both with rich patina. Largest size: 6.5" x 3" x 3" (17 x 8 x 8 cm). Total weight: 495 grams. Provenance: Matthew Friedman Collection. Matthew Friedman is author of three books on the subject of antique Asian bronze, including 1) Nepalese Casted Decanters, Vessels and Bowls 2) Bangladesh Metal Casting: Five Techniques 3) Nepalese Cast Ceremonial Lamps.
