A finely carved Lapis Lazuli table screen with delicately carved hardwood stand. The front of the screen promotes a sage and boy walking across a bridge on the way to the pavilion among tall trees and flourishing foliage. A magnificent mountainous landscape scene. In gilt, the reverse side presents a carving of a traditional humble village in a mountainous scene. The carved hardwood stand elaborately displays open work with a multileveled pedestal raised on four shallow legs. The lapis lazuli screen is brilliant blue with silver and golden hue inclusion.
