Hubbard was an American writer, artist and publisher, credited with founding The Arts and Crafts community, "Roycroft", in East Aurora, NY in 1895. He and his second wife, Alice Moore Hubbard, were passangers on the Lusitania and perished after a German U-Boat torpedo sunk the liner on May 7, 1915. MEASUREMENTS: 8-1/4" x 6-1/4".
