Green cloth boards with paste on of playing card and Hoyle trademark. Blind stamped with dark green lettering and design on spine. 412 pages with advertising. 7-3/4" x 5-1/2". Small piece of bottom of front fly-leaf cut out. Tail of spine bumped, but binding is tight. Pages bear slight uniform age toning, with slight foxing on a few pages. 2) Everybody's Party Book with Indoor Games. First edition. Written and Illustrated by William P. and Bonita Keasbey. Published by Whitman Publishing Co., Racine, Wisconsin: 1931. Paperback with illustrations. 190 pages including index. 7-3/4" x 6-1/4". Small chips around edges of cover. Pages tight, but bear uniform age in toning. 3) A Partnership in Magic. First edition. By Charles Battell Loomis. Illustrated by Herman Heyer. Published Lothrop Publishing Company, Boston: 1903. Blue cloth boards with black lettering and illustration of bonzai plant in blue pot with seven oranges on front cover and spine. Illustrations throughout. 270 pages. Approximately 7-3/4" x 5-1/4". Front fly-leaf cut out. Head and tail of spine bumped and slightly cocked. Pages tight, but bear some uniform age toning. 4) The Masquerader. A Novel. First edition. Illustrated. By Katherine Cecil Thurston. Published by Harper & Brothers Publishers, New York and London: 1904. Dark green boards with gilt lettering on front board and spine, and black design on cover. 7-3/4" x 5-1/4". Spine is cocked and bumped at head and tail. Textblock loose. Illustration between pp. 218 and 219 loose, but can be tipped in. Pages bear uniform age in toning. 5) Polygamy: or, the Mysteries and Crimes of Mormonism. Being a Full and Authentic History of Polygamy and the Mormon Sect from its Origin to the present Time., (etc.) By J. H. Published by The National Publishing Co., Philadelphia, PA: [1882?] Dark green cloth boards with gilt and black lettering and illustrations. 572 pages, with illustrations throughout. Approximately 9" x 6-1/2". Spine slightly cocked, and front board slightly loose, but not detached. Cloth slightly lifting from boards from water damage, but no staining detectable.
