Description
Glass-Filled Ruby Necklace.
This glass-filled ruby necklace is composed of 47 graduated, multi-faceted beads. It has a 14K yellow gold, diamond cut, ball clasp.
Bead Size*: 16.0 mm to 6.8 mm
Size*: 22 inches long
*All measurements are approximate.
Note: Diamond and Gemstone qualities verified inasmuch as the setting would allow, by Martin Fuller, GG, Master Gemologist Appraiser
Note: For centuries, gemstones have been treated to enhance their appearance. The very act of cutting and polishing a gemstone can be considered a treatment. Some of these treatments are temporary, and some are permanent. Which treatment(s) are used on a gemstone depends on the gemstone itself and the desired enhancement. These treatments include, but are not limited to: heating, oiling, irradiation, dyeing, impregnation & stabilization, bleaching, coating, diffusion, filling, and laser drilling. At Oakridge Auction Gallery, we strive to disclose all known treatments to diamonds and gemstones. However, some treatments are not readily detectable. Please assume that ALL diamonds or gemstones are treated in some way, whether described or not. The necklace is in good condition. From a Virginia estate. High resolution images can be found at:
