Description
Unusually Small Regency Carved Rosewood Bracket Clock, second quarter 19th century, London, the steel dial marked "William Cribb, Southampton Row, London", the rosewood case with brass-inlaid, chamfered front corners, side doors and a bowed, reeded top, h. 11-1/2", w. 6-1/2", d. 4-3/4". Provenance: The Flatt Collection.
Condition
**Unusually Small Regency Carved Rosewood Bracket Clock: In very good condition. No evidence of damage to the case. There is a faint scratch to the face near the IX chapter. The clock has a fusee movement and appears to have a recoil escapement. The face is engraved. The sides are fitted with arched glass windows - not doors. Winding key and pendulum are present. Lacking door key.
