Description
An Etrusco-Corinthian alabastron, c. 6th Century BC, the body decorated with horizontal bands in dark slip, vertical tongues around the shoulder and the rim. H: 3 5/8 in (9.2 cm). Light deposits. De-Accessioned from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art via a sale, c. 1970; Ex R. Fletcher collection, Taos, NM.
