Description
Latin America, Mexico, ca. 1925 CE. A whimsical old terracotta bank in form of a female head. Her white face is beautifully accented by her black, curly hair, delineated eyes and eyebrows, pink cheeks and red lips. Yellow handle atop her head, purple and tan graphics on back. Back of head is slightly flattened. Slit in back of head for coin to be inserted. Size: 5-1/2"H (14 cm) to top of loop handle.
