Collection of letters and notes to Lady Domini Crosfield by Yehudi Menuhin (five typed letters and a telegram) and his second wife Diana Gould (ten handwritten letters), mainly discussing touring engagements, the birth of the couple's first son Gerard and other arrangements ("Of course we don't mind about a few days' discomfort. The baby's bath, which is the only real necessity, can be produced by a kettle", 5 September 1948; "It is so kind of you to extend your hospitality during our next London visit. You know what a joy it is for us to be near you and how very much loved your house has become for us with the many happy associations we now have with it", 21 August 1949); 1940s-1950s, London, New York and Los Angeles. Also included are three pages torn from concert programmes featuring black and white photographs of Yehudi Menuhin, Sir Malcolm Sargent and Ruggiero Ricci and signed by them below their pictures; a Claridge's menu bearing a handwritten pledge "to go on a yachting trip to the Isles of Greece with Gerard and Jeremy and, should they wish to accompany us, Zamira and Krov (Mehuin's children from his first marriage)", signed by Damini and Paul Crosfield as well as Diana and Yehudi Menuhin.
