Brown and green patina over brass with engraving down to brass to accentuate designs of "undersea diatoms". Tapers from top of vase out to shoulder and back down to base. Mark incised on bottom, circle with tower over WMF. Geislingen, Germany. Note: These objects are only rarely encountered in museums and on the art market. One of the reasons for this is that this collection was not commercially successful, so that only a few pieces were ever actually made. The only Breuhaus designs in the WMF catalog to have been executed were made to order. Many of the designs were made as samples 8.75" x 7"
