The base of the piece sustains damage to both of the bottom right and left corners. It appears as though the corner on the right side was broken off entirely, in at least two pieces. The right side of the piece sustains two areas of chipping where the feathers meet the resting surface, to the right of the foot. This area sustains a vertical crack approximately 4" in length. The back left side of the piece sustains a chip to the corner. Both of the corners sustain evidence of significant restoration. The piece is structurally sound, and does not sustain additional evident damage
