An 1893 World's Columbian Exposition 'Last Nail' Brooch. The "Last Nail" was driven by Mrs. Potter Palmer in the Women's Building of the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition. Comprising a figural badge style brooch with a copper attached to the reverse. Front of brooch reads "Oro Y Plate". Reverse of brooch is stamped "Pat. Jan. 31 1893". With original pamphlet telling the story of "The Last Nail" 2.5" x 1.25"
