A Pair of French Sevres Urns. Gilt enamel decoration over green porcelain. Ormolu mounted throughout. Bearing gilt "N" and "J" for Napoleon and Josephine. Underside of lids bear crossed arrow marks 30" x 12"

The urn with the initial "N" sustains damage and restoration to the lid. It appears to have been broken into four pieces and restored. There is some minor retouching to the gilt as part of the restoration. Both urns bear dust buildup to the crevices and age appropriate pitting and darkening to the gilt bronze. Both are a bit loose on their bases and need to be tightened/secured. Otherwise, this piece is in overall very good condition and date most likely to mid-late 19th century.
