This is a men's stainless steel Breitling SuperOcean Automatic Ref A17040.  The watch features a massive circular steel case with a screw down waterproof back.  It measures 45.25mm including the crown x 47.25mm lug to lug (Serial # A17040  7027).  It has a high grade Swiss Eta Cal. 2824, rhodium plated, 25 jewel Breitling automatic movement with a straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance that is in excellent running condition.  It is topped with an original black dial with applied luminous Arabic indexes, outer tachometer graduation and 1/5th seconds scale, and a aperture for the date at 3 o'clock. It is topped with luminous steel baton hands and as you can see the watch is in overall good condition. It  just needs a polish. It is attached to a steel sectional brick link Breitling band that measures 7 3/4".  There is some stretch to the band. (SN A17040, Model 7027)
