19th-early 20th century AD. A mixed group of domestic and other items comprising: a bone shoe-horn with 'CW' monogram'; a bone shoe-horn with button hook; a horn shoe-horn; a corkscrew with nacre handle; a pair of tweezers with nacre handle; a button hook with nacre handle; a button hook with amber(?) handle (damaged); an awl with turned bone handle; a bodkin with bone handle; a pocket sprung scale with calibration in pounds (lbs); a small knife with tortoiseshell handle; a bottle-opener with 'Gilbeys' (gin) branding; a metal crucifix pendant; a nickel(?) knife blade with stamps; a bronze slice blade; a knife handle with nacre panel; a chamois pad with tortoise shell handle; a brass vent with wooden handle; a steel penknife with two folding blades, marked 'N.F.C.T.' and '1922'; a penknife with nacre handle, blade stamped with lion passant, a profile bust and an indistinct mark (crown over rosette for Norwich?); a wax spool with decorative caps printed with the tartan of the Black Watch, marked '42nd or Sutherland'. 550 grams total, 3-22cm (1 1/4 - 8 3/4").
