DESCRIPTION: Two early flow blue plates with ship scenes. Includes: 1) 7-1/2" diameter by E. Wood and Sons. Marked "E. Wood & Sons Burslem Warranted Semi-China" from 1818-1846 on underside. Depicts seashells and ships and "North Hampton, Hampshire" in lower left corner. Few unglazed dots on surface. 2) 10" diameter possibly by Staffordshire. Marked "The Dam and Waterworks Philadelphia" on reverse. Depicts dam and steamship with American flag. Few unglazed dots on surface. MEASUREMENTS: See Description. CONDITION: See Description.
