Description
The Buddha is shown seated in padmasana and holding a bowl. He is shown wearing layered robes and his chest with a buddhist swastika symbol, the hair is carved in rows of curls below the high ushnisha. The stone is of smooth white tone with some brown inclusions. Qing Dynasty period. Provenance: From a private New York collection.
