Schiaparelli (French, 1927-1954), circa 1950s. A group of two pairs of vintage rhinestone earrings or earclips designed by iconic Italian designer Elsa Schiaparelli, the first pair with blue glass cabochon over a matching teardrop form and mounted with arch of iridized blue round faceted glass stones with a sweeping reeded white metal accent; the second pair with amber oval cabochon glass gem below a round faceted citrine glass gem and set into a reticulated yellow metal sweeping form. Each with clip on backs. Each earring with incised "Schiaparelli" to back. Blue gem earrings approximately 1.625" tall. Amber gem earrings approximately 1.5" tall.
