Herend of Hungary - Set of Three Men Dancing. Three figurines of men in 18th century costumes and feather plume hats dancing. Marked on bottoms. Tallest measures 11.5 inches in height. The Herend PorcelainManufactory is a Hungarian company of luxury hand painted and gilded porcelains. Founded in 1826, it is based in the town of Herend. In the mid-19th century it was purveyor to the Hapsburg Monarchy and aristocraticcustomers throughout Europe.The Vienna Exhibition in 1845, the Great Exhibition in London in 1851, the Exhibition of All Nations in New York in 1853, and the Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1855, led to thepopularization of the porcelain worldwide and multiple awards. Also European member of distinctive Comit Colbert, French luxury houses and institutions.
