The kettle with lid surmounted by griffin finial, egg-and-dart border to rim, banding to neck below spout, curved geometric handle with ivory insulators, bulbous body with banding below, stand with egg-and-dart border to frame, scrolled cabriole feet, with four arm stretcher supporting central heating element, stand bears date code for 1817.
Condition
Bubbling near handle, nick near handle, minor nicks to legs, otherwise with surface scratches commensurate with age and use.
