The teapot with dragon's head finial, repoussé work of smoke and dragon's body to lid, pointed leaves blossoming around rim, with figural dragon handle mount, body highly decorated with repoussé work of Chinese court scenes including four royal figures conversing at table on a veranda, three scholars sitting at a table eating from bowls with another onlooker behind a bush, river scene with men in boats, laborer on shore, woman under umbrella and child onlooker, raised on rounded paneled feet with chased foliate design throughout.

Hinge pin missing, light pitting near spout, surface scratches commensurate with age and use, otherwise very good condition displaying well.
