Chalcographic portrait of the Author at fist vol. frontispiece, drawn by Joshua Reynolds and engraved by Antonio Capellan. Four folded maps, engraved by Bartolomeo Nerici, representing South America, the Gulf of Mexico with the Caribbean, and Central America.
First edition of this translation into Italian, by Angelo Erizzo, of "The history of America", London, 1777.

Franklin) and 2 figured title-pages, engraved by Bonatti and designed by Focosi; 2 large maps repeatedly folded representing the United States (a paper of the Southern Provinces and another of the Northern Provinces, which includes parts of Canada).
Edition published in 1844 over that of 1819 by the same typography, approved and corrected by the author.
