AN UNUSUAL PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN LIDDED LANTERN FORM JARS, OVERGLAZE IRON RED SEAL MARK, POSSIBLY 19TH CENTURY, each nicely decorated with crackled polychrome enameling on a pale blue ground on the translucent white porcelain body and depicting Immortals in a continuous hillside setting, interspersed with flowering bournes and rocky outcroppings, beneath a shoulder of ruyi banding enclosing a short circular neck, surmounted by a similarly painted domed lid and raised on a conforming hardwood stand.
