Six Ancient Papyrus Fragments Written in Coptic Script, Including:Â Papyrus fragment backed and under glass, measuring approximately 3.8125 x 3.4375 inches; (98 x 88 mm.), thirteen lines, single column. Several small holes, the larger holes repaired with papyrus. Label on back numbered 1415.
Papyrus fragment backed and under glass, measuring 4.0625 x 1.8125 inches; (103 x 46 mm.), two lines and a small portion of a third, single column. One medium-sized hole: measuring approximately one-quarter by one-half inch. Label on back numbered 1362 1/6.
Papyrus fragment, matted, framed, and glazed, measuring 1.5625 x 2.1875 inches (40 x 56 mm). Four lines of tiny script and part of a fifth, single column. Pencil note on back: Papyrus CA 150 AD.
Three papyrus fragments: one backed and under glass, measuring 8.5625 x 5.375 inches (218 x 135 mm), fourteen lines, single column, with several small holes, and a vertical tear or crack from bottom edge, label on back numbered 1335, and additional note in black marker: "Coptic This Way Up;" another fragment in sleeve, measuring 2.25 x 5.3125 inches (60 x 135 mm), with portions of four lines, single column; and a final fragment in sleeve, measuring 1.9375 x 2.625 inches (49 x 66 mm), with portions of three lines, single column.
