10th-12th century AD. A ribbed silver finger-ring of Lehtosalo-Hilander's Type III, the central rib D-shaped in section; decoration on the expanding flanges comprising a tremello median band and four transverse bars, Baltic workmanship. See Lehtosalo-Hilander, P-L., Luistari II - The Artefacts, Helsinki, 1982, p.122-8. 4.13 grams, 20mm overall, 18.40mm internal diameter (approximate size British Q, USA 8 1/4, Europe 17.77, Japan 17) (3/4").
