Canary paperweight, an Arthur Conant design, covered in a nice example of the Coromandel glaze. The glaze has run over onto the base and obscures all marking except a small portion of the Rookwood logo. Shape number is 6383 and this would have been cast in the late 1930's or early 1940's. There are a couple of tiny grinding chips at the base and a tight firing line there also. Height is 3 7/8 inches. Pictured in Nicholson-Thomas on page 86. From the Estate of Jim Fleming.
