Item Details

Description

Original Pewabic luster glaze lamp vase with shade made for Hudson's Department Store in Detroit in the 1940's. The red and gray luster glaze at the top drips down over an mottled oatmeal glaze with subtle iridescence. Unmarked but similar examples are pictured in Pewabic texts. Height of the ceramic portion is 11 7/8 inches. Some crazing and a pin head size glaze nick in mid body. New socket and cord but the shade is thought to be original.
