Rare and important Vance Faience or Craven Art Pottery vase done with squeeze bag decoration of columbine by Albert L. Cusick, circa 1907. The vase features extensive use of squeeze bag in outlining the flowers and dividing the vase into four panels with bubbles. There is also carving around the rim and incising inside the panels. Marked only with the name Cusick by squeeze bag near the base. Height 11 1/8 inches. A two by two inch rim chip has been seamlessly repaired by the chief conservator at the Cleveland Art Museum. A great Arts & Crafts example.
