Item Details

Description

Lot of seven antique books that includes one copy of hardcover "HARRISON FISHER'S AMERICAN BEAUTIES" by c.1909 Bobbs Merrill Company" and "November." Book contains numerous color lithographs of American women by Harrison Fisher and have poetry or sonnets on the opposite page from each lovely creature. Book is in good condition, except for damage to the back cover and wear. Pages inside are very good. Second part is group of six leatherbound History of England with essays, speeches and poems by Lord MACAULAY and are attributed to Riverside Press of Cambridge and to Albert Mason N.Y. 1876, Houghton Osgood Boston 1878 and Hurd & Houghton N.Y. 1878. Two appear to be the same, but it is confusing, because some say "Six Volumes in Three" while others say otherwise.
