Description
Possibly late 19th/ early 20th century. Made by Chinese craftsman for the Indonesian Royal Household, the Lemari Palembang cabinet made from wood, lacquer, gold leaf and pigment; the bottom of piece consists of three drawers with metal hardware, top glass paned cabinet with single door, high relief floral carved designs throughout, included key to cabinet door. Approx. 72 by 41 1/4 by 19 1/8 in., 183 by 104.5 by 48.5 cm.
