Adam Lunoe (2)
Born in Manhattan and raised in the Bronx during the «60s and «70s, Adam Lunoe remembers going to grade school and disregarding his teacher's lessons in favor of drawing. After attending the High School of Art & Design, Lunoe attended the acclaimed Parsons School of Design, but ultimately dropped out after realizing his goals were different than that of art world in the early «80s. After building his first motorcycle, Lunoe began designing tattoos for biker and punk rocker friends. Sadly, he became disheartened when he saw those tattoos on his friends' bodies, as the tattooists who applied the ink butchered his designs. Resound to never wanting to see a bad tattoo again, in 1983, Adam began his apprenticeship with Spider Webb and began to work professionally shortly thereafter. Although he can accommodate any requests made by his clientele, Adam's favorite working style is fine-line realistic black and grey. His work has been published in numerous periodicals, and Adam can often be found touring the world and tattooing a long list of human canvases.
