Description
Chinese, late 19th/ early 20th century Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). A pair of diminutive baluster form covered temple jars with underglaze blue decoration to pale gray ground depicting a monk or holy man sitting in a landscape beside a bridge, the design repeated to both sides of body, with bell form lid and conical finial. Unmarked. Approximate height 7.5", diameter 4".
