Lot consists of a gold mohair bear with glass eyes, black stitched nose, mouth, and claws, with rounded ears, felt paw pads, articulated at neck, shoulders and hips. He wears a large key on a string around his neck. The smaller bear is older, probably pre-1920, with black shoe button type eyes, brown stitched nose, and claws, and felt paw pads. Even though faded and soiled he most likely was white when new.. Although he has some characteristics of Steiff, the lack of a button, mouth stitching, and general wear and stuffing shifting, one can not definitively ascertain his manufacturer. 15" (38cm) - 18" (46cm)
