CHINESE DAOGUANG PERIOD PORCELAIN PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE "PHEASANT" SAUCERS, the saucers painted with iron-red thin bands enclosing the border, of lucky symbols alternating with flowerheads, surrounding pheasants at roost on rocks surrounded by foliage, surrounding a stylized flowerhead in typical Famille Rose palette. Iron-red stylized calligraphic marks to underside. Qing Dynasty, Daoguang Period, 1821-1850. 4 1/2" D.
