CHINESE WAN-LI PORCELAIN "KRAAK" SMALL SCALLOPED DISHES OR BOWLS, the shoulders above the incurvate cavetto on low feet, painted in blue, the smaller example with geometric and garland elements above turtles and scrolls in roundels, centering birds and animals in a landscape, the larger example with geometric reserves alternating with stylized wheat sheaves above fruit trees in reserves, surrounding a grasshopper in a foliate landscape. Unmarked. Possibly Late Ming or early Qing, Circa 1690 and later. 1 1/4" H x 3 3/8" D, the smaller; the larger example 1 1/2" H x 6" D.
